Section 51048.2 - Right to a Reconsideration(a) A skilled nursing and/or intermediate care facility provider who disagrees with a determination that the skilled nursing or intermediate care facility does not qualify as a provider of services in the Medi-Cal program may, in accordance with Section 51048.3, request that the Department reconsider that decision.(b) The reconsideration of a nonrenewal of an existing provider agreement shall be completed prior to the end of the certification period.(c) The reconsideration of a denial of an initial application for certification shall be made within 30 days of the receipt of the request for a reconsideration.Cal.
