Section 40793 - Confidentiality(a) Any individual who has filed a complaint, or has testified, assisted or participated in an investigation, shall have his/her identity kept confidential. However, it may become necessary during the course of the investigation or judicial proceedings, to identify the individual for the purposes of testifying.(b) The local agency shall restrict the use or disclosure of information obtained from Program applicants or participants to persons directly connected with the administration or enforcement of the Program or the Comptroller General of the United States for audit and examination authorized by law.Cal.
