Section 40217 - Types of AssistancePursuant to Division 1, Part 4, commencing with Section 1185 of the Health and Safety Code, the Department may provide the following types of assistance:
(a) Financial assistance in the form of a grant or loan provided under contract for the provision of specified health services and support as well as for equipment, minor capital outlay such as additions to existing structures or mobile units, minor renovations of buildings, start-up funds for services, or other uses determined appropriate by the Director.(b) Technical assistance for the development or implementation of a grant proposal or in the management or provision of services for the project, through the provision of the services of physicians, dentists, nurses and other allied health professionals and of other professionals such as lawyers and accountants.Cal.
