(a) The agency shall conduct interviews as necessary to make the assessment. (1) The agency shall conduct at least one interview in the home of the petitioners as soon as possible and no later than thirty days after the receipt of an endorsed copy of the adoption petition.(2) The agency shall conduct separate interviews with each petitioner, if there is more than one petitioner.(3) The agency shall conduct a joint interview with the petitioners, if there is more than one petitioner.(4) The agency shall conduct interviews with all other adults and have contact with all children who live in the petitioner's home.(5) The agency shall make another contact with the petitioners if the court report is submitted more than three months after the last contact with the petitioners.Cal.
