"Continuing, exclusive jurisdiction" means the authority of a tribunal to modify a support order because at least one of the parties or the child who is the subject of the order remains a resident of the state issuing the order and the parties have not expressed consent in a record or in open court to confer continuing jurisdiction on another state.
