"Child abuse" means any of the following:
(a) A physical injury which is inflicted by other than accidental means on a child by another person.(b) The sexual abuse of a child or any act or omission proscribed by Penal Code, Sections 273a(a) or 273d(a).(c) The neglect of a child or abuse in out-of-home care, as defined in Section 11165.5, Penal Code.(d) The willful cruelty or unjustifiable punishment of a child, as defined in Section 11165.3, Penal Code.(e) The unlawful corporal punishment or injury of a child, as defined in Section 11165.4, Penal Code.(f) The emotional or mental abuse of a child.Cal.
