Section 19050.8 - [Repealed operative 4/1/2025] Registration Affidavit: Secretary of State Form(a) Registration affidavits printed by the Secretary of State with the mailing address of the Secretary of State are deemed to have been received by the county clerk upon arrival in the office of the Secretary of State in the same manner as if received by a county clerk under Elections Code Sections 301 and 311. For affidavits referred to in subsection (a) above:
(b) Within one working day, the Secretary of State shall transmit the affidavit to the clerk of the county of affiant's residence, as stated on the affidavit.Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 2, § 19050.8
