Section 18315 - Complaint Against a Commissioner
(a) The Chief of Enforcement shall refer any complaint alleging a current member of the Commission violated the Political Reform Act to the Office of the Attorney General within two business days of receiving the complaint.
(b) The referral shall be in writing and include a copy of the complaint and any materials submitted with the complaint.
(c) The Chief of Enforcement shall inform the Chair of any complaint alleging another member of the Commission violated the Political Reform Act. The Chief of Enforcement shall inform the Vice Chair of any complaint alleging the Chair violated the Political Reform Act.
(d) Upon referring the complaint to the Office of the Attorney General, the Chief of Enforcement shall provide a copy of the referral, including any materials submitted with the referral, to the member of the Commission who is the subject of the complaint and to the person who filed the complaint.
