Section 1853 - Director of General Services(a) The Director of General Services shall perform all acts necessary to carry out the provisions of the Act except such functions as are reserved to the Board and to other agencies by law or by these regulations and shall provide such staff assistance to the Board as may be necessary.(b) He shall adopt such policies and operating procedures as he deems essential to carrying out the provisions of the Act that are not in conflict with said Act.Cal.
