Upon the request of appointing powers, the Department may authorize the payment of the actual cost of medical examinations for non-represented employees required to possess either a Class I or Class II California Driver's License. To be eligible for such reimbursement, the employee must either (1) receive their exams from a contractor physician or clinic; or (2) receive advance approval to be examined by a personal physician for a reasonable cost.
