Section 94540 - Purpose

The purpose of this article is to provide an alternative method to comply with the VOC standards for consumer products that are specified in Title 17, California Code of Regulations, sections 94507-94517. This alternative is provided by allowing responsible ACP parties the option of voluntarily entering into separate "alternative control plans" (ACPs) for consumer products, as specified in this article.

The one year deadline in Government Code section 11346.4(b) and the filing deadline specified in Government Code section 11349.3(a) extended 60 calendar days pursuant to Executive Order N-40-20 and an additional 60 calendar days pursuant to Executive Order N-71-20.
