Section 2448 - Comprehensive Risk Assessments(a) When preparing a risk assessment in accordance with section 2240 of article 2 of this chapter for an inmate described in subdivision (a) of section 2447, a psychologist shall also take into consideration the youth factors described in section 2446 of article 14 of this chapter and their mitigating effects. The psychologist's consideration of these factors shall be documented within the risk assessment under a unique heading from the remainder of the report.(b) The requirements of this section shall only apply to a risk assessment that becomes final under subdivision (c) of section 2240 of article 2 of this chapter after December 31, 2019.Cal.
