Section 17387.5 - Purpose(a) The purpose of this Article is to promote the health, safety and welfare of the people of the State of California, and to protect the environment by establishing minimum standards for the handling and disposal of C&D waste and inert debris at disposal sites.(b) By adopting these standards, the board hereby sets forth performance standards for disposal sites which dispose C&D waste and inert debris and which are of State concern, as required by PRC sections 43020 and 43021, and sets forth minimum substantive requirements for operator's submission of information concerning individual disposal sites.Cal.
