Section 13333 - Filing an Appeal
(a) Any final action by the local government may be appealed by any person, the executive director, or any two (2) members of the commission. The appeal must contain the information contained in Section 13111(a).
(b) The appeal must be received in the district office with jurisdiction over the local government no later than 5:00 p.m. on the twentieth (20th) working day after receipt of the notice of the final local government action. An appellant may submit the appeal form via email, but the appeal shall be deemed to be timely filed only if it is received by the general email account of the district office with jurisdiction over the local government no later than 5:00 p.m. on the final day of the appeal period. Transmittal to any other email address does not constitute proper or timely submittal of the appeal form, and the appeal shall be rejected.
(c) The executive director shall determine whether to file the appeal in the manner specified in Section 13111(d).
