Section 13300 - Applicability of Subchapter to Developments Within the Coastal Zone

This subchapter shall govern the issuance by local governments of coastal development permits pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 30600(b) and shall be applicable to any person wishing to perform or undertake any development in the coastal zone except for the following:

(a) Any development on tidelands, submerged lands, or on public trust lands, whether filled or unfilled.

(b) Any development by a public agency for which a local government permit is not otherwise required.

(c) Any development subject to the provision of Section 30608, 30610, 30610.5, 30611 and 30624 of the Public Resources Code.
