Section 6695 - Searchlights or Other Blinding Lights(a) Except for law enforcement or search and rescue activities, flashing a searchlight or other blinding light onto the bridge or onto the pilothouse of any vessel underway is prohibited.(b) All floodlights or headlights which may interfere with the proper navigation of an approaching vessel shall be so shielded that the lights will not blind the pilot of such vessel.Cal.
