The board of supervisors or planning commission of any county for which Rules have been adopted pursuant to § 4516.6 of the Public Resources Code may request a public hearing on any timber harvesting Plan or non-industrial timber management Plan submitted for lands within the county. Such request must be made no later than one (1) calendar day after the pre-harvest inspection date. The request may be in writing, by phone, or by facsimile. The request must be for a specific Plan that has been filed according to 14 CCR § 1032. For good cause the Director may extend the deadline.
