Section 2852 - Prohibitions(a) No person may manufacture for sale, advertise for sale, sell, or offer for sale in California, or introduce, deliver, or import into California SIMW, SIME, and/or its evaporative emissions control system components that are subject to any of the applicable standards and procedures in sections 2854 or 2855 if the SIMW or evaporative emissions control system component is:(1) Not certified under section 2856 as applicable; or(2) The SIMW, SIME, and/or evaporative emissions control system component for SIMW are certified under section 2856 as applicable, but not in conformity with applicable performance or design standards.(b) No person may advertise for sale, offer or sell in California, or introduce, deliver, or import into California SIMW, SIME, and/or evaporative emissions control system components for SIMW as being certified, when in fact, such SIMW, SIME, or evaporative emissions control system component is not in conformity of the Executive Order of Certification or Component Executive Order of Certification.Cal.
