Section 450.06 - Appeals Hearings(a) The department shall provide for an appeal hearing from the denial of a Commercial Driver License, Non-Commercial Firefighter Driver License, School Bus Certificates, School Pupil Activity Bus Certificates, Youth Bus Certificates, General Public Paratransit Vehicle Certificates, Vehicle for Developmentally Disabled Persons Certificate, Ambulance Certificate, California Tow Truck Driver Clearance, Hazardous Agricultural Materials/Wastes Transportation Verification, Verification of Transit Training Document, or a Farm Labor Certificate. The hearing shall be held in accordance with Article 3 (commencing with Section 13800 or 14100) of Chapter 3 of Division 6 of the Vehicle Code.(b) The department shall provide for an appeal hearing from the denial of an occupational license or motor carrier permit. The hearing shall be held pursuant to Chapter 5 (commencing with Section 11500) of Part 1 of Division 3 of Title 2 of the Government Code.(c) The only issue at the hearings shall be whether the department has acted properly in refusing to issue a temporary or permanent PRWORA benefit based on a failure to provide the documentation establishing PRWORA eligibility as required by Section 450.02.Cal.
