Section 300.5 - Killed in the Line of Duty, While on Active Duty; Defined(a) The definition of a veteran "killed in the line of duty while on active duty" is "died as a result of injury, disease, or other infirmity, which injury, disease, or infirmity was not caused by the veteran's own willful misconduct, during period of active military, naval, or air service".Cal.
