Section 930.20 - Use of Guidelines(a) The guidelines set forth in this article shall be used in theinvestigation of suspected child abuse in out-of-home care facilities as defined in Penal Code section 11165.5.(b) Voluntary Inter-agency Investigation Teams - Counties having a Voluntary Inter-Agency Investigation team shall have the discretion to follow the procedures and standards for assessment and investigation of child abuse which are established and agreed upon by the agencies involved, if they are consistent with the guidelines in sections 930.40 through 930.64 of this article, and all cross reports and notifications required therein are made.Cal.
