Section 456 - Equipment Costs(a) Allowable equipment includes, but is not limited to, computer equipment, furniture and office equipment, telephone systems, and motorized vehicle purchase or lease. A DOJ Equipment Property Sticker is required on all equipment, which is (1) non-expendable, tangible personal property; (2) having a useful life of more than one year; and (3) having a cost over $499 per unit.(b) Equipment purchases are not to exceed five percent of the total project budget and are not to be included in the indirect costs.(c) Any equipment purchases under $499 are allowable and must be in line-item detail on budget sheets under operating expenses.Cal.
