Section 999.400 - Annual Registration Fee
(a) The annual fee to register as a data broker is $400.00.

1. New chapter 20.5, article 1 (section 999.400) and section filed 12-18-2019 as an emergency; operative 1-1-2020 (Register 2019, No. 51). A Certificate of Compliance must be transmitted to OAL by 6-29-2020 or emergency language will be repealed by operation of law on the following day.
2. Emergency filed 12-18-2019 and operative 1-1-2020 extended 60 days pursuant to Executive Order N-40-20 and an additional 60 days pursuant to Executive Order N-71-20 (Register 2020, No. 44). A Certificate of Compliance must be transmitted to OAL by 10-27-2020 or emergency language will be repealed by operation of law on the following day.
3. New section refiled 10-26-2020 as an emergency; operative 10-28-2020. Emergency expiration extended 60 days (Executive Order N-40-20) plus an additional 60 days (Executive Order N-71-20) (Register 2020, No. 44). A Certificate of Compliance must be transmitted to OAL by 5-28-2021 or emergency language will be repealed by operation of law on the following day.
4. Certificate of Compliance as to 10-26-2020 order, including amendment of article heading, section heading and section, transmitted to OAL 11-24-2021 and filed 12-21-2020; amendments operative 12-31-2020 pursuant to Government Code section 11343.4(b) (Register 2021, No. 1).
