Section 999.139 - Security Requirements for Computer Media

(a) Fixed and removable disks shall be sanitized as defined in NIST Special Publication 800-88 Revision 1, Guidelines for Media Sanitization (publication date, December 2014), prior to reallocating ERDS hardware or storage media to other purposes.
