Section 2600 - Authority for RegulationsThese regulations are promulgated pursuant to the rule-making power conferred upon the Insurance Commissioner by the Legislature in Section 843 of the Insurance Code (formerly Political Code Section 594 c; Chapter 730, page 1355, Stats. 1929). Any express statutory basis for each regulation is cited either at the end of each section hereof or after that portion of a section to which it particularly relates, whichever is more appropriate. All statutory references herein are to the California Insurance Code unless otherwise stated.
