Proposed plan for tabulating votes cast at all polling locations, including Vote Centers.
Estimated number of Voting Machines not assigned to any specific polling location or Vote Center on election day, but which would be available for use in case of an emergency or high voter turnout at one or more polling places Vote Centers.
If a Vote Center is used in an election, the Vote Center shall have a Secure Electronic Connection to provide and receive voting information to and from the computerized voter registration records maintained by the County Clerk.
The Secure Electronic Connection must allow live streaming of information, to and from the Vote Center, and to and from every other polling location, so that double voting is not allowed.
Back-up for at least twelve (12) hours of operation for all Equipment. Batteries, a generator, or other appropriate devices may be used for back-up.
Telephone, either land-line or cell phone, for poll workers using an Electronic Poll Book in order to contact the County Clerk's office to verify voter registration in the event of electronic system failure or other internet connectivity issues.
List of land-line or cell phone numbers for each polling site in the county, including Vote Centers, in order to contact other polling sites to verify an elector has not previously voted.
Paper copy of the precinct voter registration list. A Vote Center must have a paper copy of the precinct voter registration list for all Precincts within the county.
