A review of the 2006 ICD-9-CM diagnosis codes has been completed. The Arkansas Medicaid Program will begin accepting the new diagnosis codes effective for claims received on and after December 1, 2005. Most of the new diagnosis codes will be covered with the exception of those in section II of this notice.
