Section R9-7-207 - Reciprocal Recognition of Out-of-state Radiation MachinesA. If any radiation machine is to be brought into the state for temporary use, the person proposing to bring the radiation machine into the state shall provide written notice to the Department at least three working days before the radiation machine is to be used in the state. The notice shall include the type of radiation machine; the nature, duration, and scope of use; and the exact location where the radiation machine is to be used. If, for a specific case, the three working-day period would impose an undue hardship, the person may upon application to the Department, obtain permission to proceed sooner.B. In addition, the owner of the radiation machine and the person possessing the machine while in the state shall:1. Comply with all applicable rules of the Department;2. Upon request, supply the Department with a copy of the machine's registration and other information regarding the safe operation of the machine while it is in the state; and3. Upon request, supply the Department with the work authorization from the Department, machine registration, operating and emergency procedures, utilization log, survey instrument and associated calibration record, and training records for all users.C. A radiation machine shall not be operated within the state on a temporary basis in excess of 180 calendar days per year.Ariz. Admin. Code § R9-7-207
