Section R9-6-334 - Encephalitis, Viral or ParasiticCase control measures: A local health agency shall:
1. Upon receiving a report of encephalitis under R9-6-202, notify the Department: a. For a case or suspect case of parasitic encephalitis, within 24 hours after receiving the report and provide to the Department the information contained in the report; andb. For a case or suspect case of viral encephalitis, within one working day after receiving the report and provide to the Department the information contained in the report;2. Conduct an epidemiologic investigation of each reported viral or parasitic encephalitis case or suspect case; and3. For each encephalitis case, submit to the Department, as specified in Table 2.4, the information required under R9-6-206(D)Ariz. Admin. Code § R9-6-334
