Section R9-6-329 - DengueA. Case control measures: A local health agency shall:1. Upon receiving a report under R9-6-202 of a dengue case or suspect case, notify the Department within one working day after receiving the report and provide to the Department the information contained in the report;2. Conduct an epidemiologic investigation of each reported dengue case or suspect case;3. For each dengue case, submit to the Department, as specified in Table 2.4, the information required under R9-6-206(D); and4. Ensure that each dengue case is provided with health education that includes measures to: a. Avoid mosquito bites, andb. Reduce mosquito breeding sites.B. Environmental control measures: In cooperation with the Department, a local health agency or another local agency responsible for vector control within a jurisdiction shall conduct an assessment of the environment surrounding each dengue case or suspect case and implement vector control measures as necessary.Ariz.
