Section R4-16-402 - Authorized Procedures for Medical AssistantsA. A medical assistant may perform, under the direct supervision of a physician or a physician assistant, the medical procedures listed in Appendix B, Core Curriculum for Medical Assistants, 2015 edition of Standards and Guidelines for the Accreditation of Educational Programs in Medical Assisting, published by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.
