Section R3-10-401 - DefinitionsThese words are defined for use in this Article, unless the context otherwise requires:
1. "Food sales" include sale of produce, processed food, hay, and commodities such as food grains, dairy and livestock.2. "Qualified end-user," with respect to a food, means the consumer of the food, where the term "consumer" does not include a business; or a restaurant or retail food establishment, as those terms are defined in 21 CFR 1.227 that is located either: a. In the same state or the same Indian reservation as the farm that produced the food; orb. Not more than 275 miles from the farm that produced the food. 3. "Services" include activities related to covered produce such as harvesting, packing, holding or cooling.Ariz. Admin. Code § R3-10-401
