Section R21-1-304 - Computation of TimeA. In computing any time period:1. The term "day" means a calendar day;2. The term "work day" means Monday through Friday, excluding Arizona state holidays;3. The date of the act, event, notice, or default from which a designated time period begins to run is not counted as part of the time period; and4. The last day of the designated time period is counted, unless it is a Saturday, Sunday, or Arizona state holiday.B. The mailing date is the date of the document, unless the facts show otherwise.C. A document mailed by the Department is deemed received by the addressee, five days after the mailing date to the addressee's last known address, unless the facts show otherwise.Ariz. Admin.
