Section 8 AAC 30.086 - Approval of job training programs(a) For the purposes of AS 36.10.140(a)(4), the following types of job training programs are approved: (1) a program approved by the Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education, or by an equivalent agency in another state if the program is located in another state; or(2) a program approved by the United States Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship.(b) For the purposes of AS 36.10.140(a)(4), the following types of training programs will, in the department's discretion, be approved:(1) a program sponsored or conducted by an employer or union; or(2) a program approved under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act WIOA 2014, Pub.
