Section 8 AAC 25.020 - Decisions(a) The hearing officer shall prepare a written decision containing findings of fact and conclusions of law after the close of the hearing.(b) Upon making a decision, the hearing officer shall serve it upon the respondent and claimant by personal service or certified mail, return receipt requested. If the hearing officer determines that the respondent owes the claimant wages or has otherwise violated AS 23.05, the decision may contain those orders and other relief as the hearing officer considers appropriate to correct the unlawful conduct.
