Section 7 AAC 85.405 - Electronic accessThe department will protect the security of an electronic information system that is provided by the department to a provider by
(1) limiting access to the system and to information related to the system through dual-level authentication maintained by the provider;(2) limiting technical, administrative, and maintenance access by authentication;(3) providing network access controls through the use of a firewall or similar protection;(4) monitoring system use through database access monitoring tools;(5) protecting the confidentiality and integrity of information during electronic transmission by the use of encryption controls; and(6) updating security provisions as needed.Eff. 9/23/2004, Register 171Authority:AS 18.05.040
