Section 7 AAC 53.410 - Petition for resumption of state custody(a) A person who seeks resumption of state custody under AS 47.10.080(v) and this chapter may request the department to petition the court for a hearing to determine eligibility for resumption of state custody.(b) For a person who has not reached 18 years of age, the department will submit the petition.(c) For a person who has reached 18 years of age or been emancipated, either the person or the department may submit the petition.
