Section 7 AAC 27.590 - DefinitionsIn 7 AAC 27.510 - 7 AAC 27.590
(1) "department" means the Department of Health and Social Services;(2) "designated laboratory" means a laboratory designated by the department to perform screening of blood specimens for congenital disorders; (3) "health care provider" means any of the following providers licensed under AS 08: (B) an advanced practice registered nurse, including a certified nurse midwife; (C) a certified direct-entry midwife.
