A voter who applies for an absentee by-mail ballot under AS 15.20.081(a) shall provide a mailing address to which the absentee ballot is to be mailed. If a specific mailing address for the absentee ballot is not provided on the voter's application, the director will mail the ballot to the voter's permanent mailing address indicated on the voter's application. If the person's permanent mailing address is not indicated on the application, the director will mail the ballot to the voter's residence address on file with the division.
