Section 5 AAC 28.555 - Description of South Alaska Peninsula Area districts and sectionsThe districts and sections for the sablefish and rockfish fisheries in the South Alaska Peninsula Area are described as follows:
(1) Eastern District: all waters of the South Alaska Peninsula Area east of the longitude of Scotch Cap Light at 164º 44.72' W. long., which includes the following sections: (A) Shumagin Islands Section: all waters of the Eastern District west of a line extending from Kupreanof Point at 55º 33.98' N. lat., 159º 35.88' W. long, to a point offshore at 53° 40,46' N.. 156° 20.22' W. long, and east of 161º W. long.;(B) Pavlof Bay Section: all waters of the Eastern District west of 161º W. long. and east of the 162º W. long.;(C) Sanak Island Section: all waters of the Eastern District west of 162º W. long. and east of the longitude of Scotch Cap Light at 164º 44.72' W. long.:(2) Western District: all waters of the South Alaska Peninsula Area west of the longitude of Scotch Cap Light at 164º 44.72' W. long.Eff. 5/19/2001, Register 158; am 5/15/2004, Register 170; am 4/20/2012, Register 202; am 9/19/2019,Register 231, August 2019
