Section 3 AAC 52.501 - Application and waiver(a) Each electric utility subject to the regulatory jurisdiction of the commission must comply with the provisions of 3 AAC 52.501 - 3 AAC 52.504 and 3 AAC 52.507 - 3 AAC 52.519.(b) Each gas utility subject to the regulatory jurisdiction of the commission must comply with the provisions of 3 AAC 52.501 - 3 AAC 52.502 and 3 AAC 52.505 - 3 AAC 52.519.(c) Unless otherwise required under AS 42.05, a requirement in 3 AAC 52.501 - 3 AAC 52.519 may be modified or waived, in whole or in part, by order of the commission, on the commission's own motion or on a showing that the waiver or modification is in the public interest.
