Section 3 AAC 28.030 - Qualification exceptions(a) If the company is a subsidiary of an authorized life insurance company, or affiliated with such company by common management or ownership, it may be deemed by the director to have satisfied the provision of 3 AAC 28.020(a) (2) if either it or such authorized life insurance company satisfies the provisions.(b) Notwithstanding (a) of this section, companies authorized and having a satisfactory record of doing business in this state for a period of at least three years may be deemed to have satisfied 3 AAC 28.020(a) (2).Eff. 11/8/73, Register 48In 2010 the revisor of statutes, acting under AS 01.05.031, renumbered former AS 21.42.370 as AS 21.42.315. As of Register 196 (January 2011), the regulations attorney made a conforming technical revision under AS 44.62.125(b)(6), to the authority citation that follows 3 AAC 28.030, so that the citation to former AS 21.42.370(j) now refers to the renumbered statute, AS 21.42.315.
