Section 20 AAC 30.950 - Changes in approved grant project or program(a) Before changing a grant project or program from the terms of the grant award, a grantee shall submit the proposed changes in writing to the council for approval. The council will notify the grantee of its decision within 30 days after receipt of the proposed changes.(b) To change the beginning or ending date of a grant period, a grantee shall submit to the council, for approval, a written request for the change. Within 30 days after receipt of the request, the council will review the request and notify the grantee of its decision. The grantee may not use grant money to pay an expense incurred before the beginning date or after the ending date of the grant period, unless payment of the expense is authorized under the terms of the grant and is authorized in writing by the council.(c) A grantee may reallocate money between budget categories, within the total budget of the grant project or program, to meet unanticipated expenditures necessary to the successful continuation or completion of the grant project or program, if the expenditures are authorized under the terms of the grant.Eff. 2/10/83, Register 85; am 6/28/98, Register 146; am/readopt 7/1/2011, Register 198Effective 7/1/2011, Register 198, the Alaska State Council on the Arts readopted 20 AAC 30.950 to affirm the validity of that section after statutory amendments made in ch. 30, SLA 2010. The council also amended 20 AAC 30.950(c) and repealed 20 AAC 30.950(d). Chapter 30, SLA 2010 made explicit the council's authority to adopt regulations consistent with AS 44.27.052(a)(6).
