Section 20 AAC 30.739 - Definitions of terms in 20 AAC 30.720 - 20 AAC 30.739

In 20 AAC 30.720 - 20 AAC 30.739,

(1) "art bank" means the Alaska contemporary art bank, an activity of the council;

(2) "borrower" means the state agency or congressional office responsible for the artwork during the term of the loan;

(3) "representative" means a staff member designated by

(A) the director or executive of a state agency to select the artwork on behalf of the state agency;

(B) a member of the state's Congressional delegation to select the artwork on behalf of the member's Congressional office.

Effective 7/1/2011, Register 198, the Alaska State Council on the Arts readopted 20 AAC 30.739 to affirm the validity of that section after statutory amendments made in ch. 30, SLA 2010. Chapter 30, SLA 2010 made explicit the council's authority to adopt regulations consistent with AS 44.27.052(a)(6).
