Section 2 AAC 64.900 - Time computations(a) The time in which to perform an act required or permitted under this chapter is computed by excluding the first day and including the last, unless the last day is a Saturday, Sunday, or state holiday. If the last day is a Saturday, Sunday, or state holiday, that day is excluded and the act shall be performed on or before the end of the next state business day unless an extension of time is granted.(b) Whenever an act required or permitted by this chapter is performed in response to a notice or other document that has been served by mail upon a party or the party's representative, three days are added to the period computed under (a) of this section.Eff. 7/2/2006, Register 178Authority:AS 44.64.020
