Section 18 AAC 36.900 - Waiver of requirements(a) (a) The department will, if the department finds that animal and public health is protected and the purpose of the requirement is otherwise satisfied, waive a requirement of this chapter.(b) A person seeking a waiver under this section must submit an application to the department. The application must be made in writing and must (1) specify the requirement for which the waiver is sought;(2) state the reasons why the requirement cannot be met; and(3) describe the alternative method proposed for meeting the purpose of the requirement.(c) The department will grant or deny a request for a waiver, with or without conditions, in writing not later than 30 days after the application is received.Eff. 9/1/82, Register 83; am 3/24/2017, Register 221, April 2017
