Section 18 AAC 30.950 - Plan review and inspection(a) If a facility subject to this chapter is to be constructed or extensively remodeled, plans and specifications for the construction or remodeling must be submitted to the department for review and approval before construction or remodeling is begun.(b) The department will, in its discretion(1) conduct a pre-occupancy inspection of a facility to determine compliance with the applicable provisions of this chapter;(2) conduct inspections of an existing facility subject to this chapter and forward copies of its findings, including required changes and recommendations, to the facility operator and to any other state or local agency exercising direct regulatory authority over the facility; and(3) conduct inspections as otherwise required by statute or regulation.Eff. 4/18/82, Register 82Authority:AS 17.20.010 -.050
