Section 17 AAC 25.250 - Definitions for 17 AAC 25.200 - 17 AAC 25.250(a) The definitions in 49 C.F.R. 390.5, adopted by reference in 17 AAC 25.210(a), apply in 17 AAC 25.200 - 17 AAC 25.250, except that for vehicles operating in intrastate commerce that have a gross vehicle weight, gross vehicle weight rating, gross combination weight, or gross combination weight rating less than 26,001 pounds, "commercial motor vehicle" has the meaning given in AS 19.10.399, with the exception of commercial motor vehicles transporting hazardous materials for which a placard is required under 49 C.F.R.
