Section 17 AAC 20.950 - Materials adopted by reference

For purposes of 17 AAC 10, 17 AAC 15, this chapter, and 17 AAC 60, the following documents are adopted by reference:

(1) the Alaska Traffic Manual, dated June 16, 2016, as amended through 2022, consisting of the

(A)Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, 2009, including Revisions 1 - 3, dated through July 2022 issued by the United States Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration; and

(B) department's Alaska Traffic Manual Supplement, dated June 16, 2016, including errata and addenda as of June 2022;

(2) the department's publication Federal Aid Highways: Interstate, Primary, and Secondary Highways of Alaska, dated February 2022;

(3) the Rental Rate Blue Book for Construction Equipment, Vol. 1, dated 2001, published by Intertec Publishing Corporation; the publication in this paragraph is adopted by reference for the sole purpose of determining equipment and vehicle costs for the removal of outdoor advertising located within or outside of highway right-of-way under 17 AAC 20.012 and 17 AAC 20.013;

(4) the department's Alaska Highway Preconstruction Manual, dated September 2, 2022;

(5) the department's Alaska Aviation Preconstruction Manual, dated January 1, 2021;

(6) the department's Alaska Right-of-Way Manual, February 2022 edition;

(7) the department's Alaska Utilities Manual dated June 17, 2022;

(8) the department's Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, February 2020 edition, as modified through June 1. 2023;

(9) the department's Alaska Construction Manual, dated March 10, 2023;

(10) the department's Alaska Standard Plans Manual, dated September 15, 2022, as modified through June 1, 2023;

(11) the department's Alaska Sign Design Specifications, dated January 23, 2015, revised as of July 1, 2022.
