15 Alaska Admin. Code § 155.540

Current through December 21, 2024
Section 15 AAC 155.540 - Renewal of energy rater agreement
(a) The Corporation shall establish procedures for the periodic renewal of energy rater agreements. The Corporation may also establish requirements for continuing training or education as a condition for renewal of an energy rater agreement, procedures for the random review of ratings for accuracy and fee schedules for the renewal of rater agreements.
(b) Effective July 1, 2010, an energy rater is required to obtain and continue to maintain a Building Analyst certification through the Building Performance Institute, or other comparable certification as approved by the corporation, to renew or maintain a rater agreement with the corporation.
(c) If the Corporation denies an energy rater's renewal of the energy rater agreement under this section, the Corporation will promptly notify the energy rater in writing of the reason for the denial of renewal and advise the energy rater of the right to appeal the denial of renewal under 15 AAC 150.225.

Even though the amendment of 15 AAC 155.540 was effective 6/14/2010, it was not published until Register 204, January 2013.

As of Register 204 (January 2013), the regulations attorney made a technical revision under AS 44.62.125(b)(6), to 15 AAC 155.540(b). This revision conforms 15 AAC 155.540(b), as it appears in print, with the text that the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation's board of directors adopted on February 9, 2010 and that took effect the same date. Through a clerical error, the text that the corporation staff originally forwarded to the lieutenant governor's office for publication did not conform with what the board of directors actually adopted.
